Why Earth is called a Unique Blue Planet ?

A beautiful article about Why Earth is called a Unique Blue Planet ? We all live on a beautiful Earth which is sometimes known as “Mother Earth’. It is the third (3rd) planet from the Sun. The Earth is covering 70.8% of water from earth’s crust and 29.2% of land from earth’s crust. The Earth’s alternative names are The World, The Globe, Terra, Tellus, Gaia etc. Earth has a unique atmosphere which is Dynamic Atmosphere. The Dynamic Atmosphere is that kind of atmosphere which is consists of a layer of mixed gases. It is the only one celestial body in the universe that supports human life or living beings. This Earth is often called ‘Blue Planet’ because it’s huge area covered with water which is looks similar with blue colour. Earth’s unique adjustable atmosphere helps to live other living beings such as human, animals, trees or plants. This atmosphere is a great combination of temperature, water, air, sunlight, moonlight etc.

History of Earth Formation :

In the very early time the oldest material found in the Solar system, it was approximately billion years ago. This Earth was formed with unique substances such as cloud of gas and dust left over after the formation of the Sun. Later, this cloud called the solar nebula, which was began to spin and flatten into a disk. Some particles stuck together such as tiny particles of rock and metal collided and gradually it was forming larger bodies called Planetesimals. In the early time, the temperature of the Sun is very hot due to frequent collisions, volcanic activity and decay of radioactive elements. After many years, this hot surface of the Sun gradually became cooled and a solid crust formed. Some gases created different atmosphere in the early time. These were released from volcanic eruptions and composed of carbon dioxide, water vapor and nitrogen. When the hot surface of the Earth gradually cooled, after that water vapor condensed to form oceans. Over the time, the process photosynthetic organism began releasing oxygen, it was transforming the Earth’s atmosphere. At the last, the Earth evolved from a lifeless mass into the famous planet where supports life with a great balance of environmental process as well as atmosphere balance, liquid water and diverse ecosystems.

Physical Characteristics :

The Earth has a rounded shape through hydrostatic equilibrium. The term ‘Hydrostatic Equilibrium also known as ‘Hydrostatic Balance’ and ‘Hydrostasy’. This is the condition of a fluid or plastic solid at rest. The average diameter of the Earth is 12,742 km and for this reason our Earth is achieve the fifth largest planetary sized position. It is also known as largest terrestrial object of the solar system. The Earth has the shape of an ellipsoid, bulging at it’s equator and the main reason of this is Earth’s rotation.

Water and Land :

Earth Water and Land Percentage

Our Earth is known as the ‘Blue Planet’ because it is 75% covered with water and remaining 29% covered with land. Huge source of Earth’s water, nearly 97% is found in the oceans and seas. These water sources are not suitable for drinking or agriculture because it is salt water. The percentage of fresh water is only 3% which is able to drink or cooking. These small amount of fresh water sources mostly locked in different ways such as Glaciers, Ice Caps and Underground Sources. After that, less than 1% of fresh water is available in common sources like Rivers, lakes etc.

Earth’s Atmosphere :

The main factor of sustaining the Ecosystem is Earth’s atmosphere. The Gases’s thin layers envelops the Earth is stay in place by gravity. It’s atmosphere filled by Nitrogen, Oxygen, Water Vapor and smaller amount of Carbon Dioxide, argon etc. The Ozone Layer plays a important role with our Earth through protect us from dangerous Ultra Violet Ray (UV Ray)

Earth’s Weather :

Earth’s weather give us both beneficial and harmful effects. We can’t predict it, we can only conscious regarding our safety. Lightning strikes can cause wildfires which is very dangerous, heavy rain can cause flood. Extreme level of weather such as Tornado or Hurrican and Cyclone can spread in large amounts of energy along their paths.

Our Mother Earth :

We all the people love our Mother Earth but sometimes a few bad people try to destroy this beautiful Earth. Their main aim is not to harm or destroy the Earth infact the main aim is gain profit through nature or Earth. If they have cut some trees then they will get some money fot this, if they will cut costly wooden tree or cut many trees then it will be more profitable. That’s why people involved in this type of destructional activities. Through human population increases, people need more land, food, water and energy. Huge population is the another main reason of Earth destruction. Deforestation leads to loss wildlife’s home or disbalance natural life. But another strange thing is that, many people don’t know how to take care of our nature. They don’t know some basic habits to take care of our nature. Burning fossil fuels causes Global Warming. This fossil burning use for transport and electricity. We should learn about Nature and how should we can take care of it this is most important thing. In the school and college’s syllabus, there must be an environment related lessons or chapters. Through this, the new generation get some awareness regading Nature or Environment.

Conclusion :

Our Mother Earth is a very beautiful and precious planet which is consider as a unique planet for it’s features and qualities. It provides us air for breathe, water for drink, food for eat and home for living. God gives us a very precious gift but sometimes we all forget to take care of it. Deforestation, Pollution and overuse of natural resources are the dirtiest example of it. We should learn how to take care of it and rise the growth of natural elements or objects.
